I did what Cliff said to and I was able to log in and out without any problems. Now I can not get back into the Admin Side. When I log in the screen just flashes and the screen refreshes and does not let me in.
Thanks,

Christopher

What version of the software are you running?

I needed to state the cookie domain and path. That worked

Now it's not letting me log in as admin. Had to turn it off again.

I'm running SP1 Final.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Christopher

What does it do when you try to login as admin now, does the screen flash like you were saying before? Also, what are your settings for site root, site secure root, cookie domain, and cookie path?

If ssl is off, it works fine.
If it's on, it just refreshes the screen. (And doesn't log on.)
Customers can log on, but the admin can't.

site root: http://www.FireFold.com/
secure root: https://Secure.FireFold.com/

cookie domain: FireFold.com
cookie path: blank
Thanks,

Sorry, but under security make sure you have the option "Site Secure And Standard Roots on different TLD:" checked. I know you are not on a different TLD, but you are on different sub domains for your standard and secure roots.

That already is checked.

Can you do me a favor and go into the web.config and add

<sessionState cookieless="true" ></sessionState>

under the <system.web> tag.

to see if using login and logout work in this instance. I am just trying to determine if it has to do with you losing session when it crosses sub-domains.

I got it fixed. Apparently the account had an issue with it that wouldn't work with SSL.

I created a new admin account, and it works fine.
Thanks,

Christopher

Interesting, were you using the default admin account?
