Hi,


Having spent about 8 or more hours tracking a bug I thought its best I shared it!



If you set up a UK GBP Protx gateway account, your transactions will fail with vendor currency error.



I've tracked this down to the nsoftware.IBizPayWeb.dll not BV5 SP1, BV correctly passes the configured currency to the payment IBiz E-Payment Integrator V3. It is this component used in bv that incorrectly builds the currency field value as "USD, GBP", which is not supported by protx. It should be Currency="GBP" when posted.



I have a support ticket opened (but not yet acknowledged) with nsoftware.com.



The only resolution I can see is that nsoftware.com supply a hotfix dll to BV so they can supply it with BV5 SP1 patch.

Thanks for the tip! Hopefully nsoftware can get us a fix for this.
