For my shipping option, I defined FedEx Ground. For my products, I have input the dimentions in inches and weight in pounds. I also use a FexEx Account and Meter Number to enable real time rates.

However, no matter how many products I have in my cart, the shipping rate is fixed at $10.

Is this a bug?

Thanks

Hmm, I have not seen this before, and we are able to retrieve real-time fedex rates. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

My version is BVC 5.0.0.621. Was this issue fixed in SP1? I'm don't want to upgrade because I made a lot of changes to the aspx pages and the upgrade to SP1 requires me to redo my work.

I would recommend that you get a comparison tool like "beyond compare" (http://www.scootersoftware.com/) and install SP1, then merge the changes you made back into it. Depending on the changes you made, it could reduce your workload for upgrading significantly.

With regards to a bug in the release version for Fedex shipping, I am unaware of a bug preventing real-time rates.

After doing some more testing, I've determined that the products weighed very little, and that's why the real time shipping rates didn't change significantly. Thanks for all your help.

Reborn,

Buy/ship a product and note the shipping cost. Now, make sure option on the product's main edit page "ship separately" is chosen, and buy/ship 2 items. This should tell Fed Ex that two boxes are being shipped and you'll be billed for two boxes. Did the shipping cost on the customer's invoice double? If not, shipping isn't working right. Let Justin know, he's working on it.
