If you are having the issue with Shared Choices not deleting, please read this...

We are trying to replicate the issue that some people are experiencing where shared choices cannot be deleted from products. They are deleted, but then after you save, when you come back to the product choices it is still there. So far we have been unable to replicate this issue and we need some help from people who have experienced this. Here is what we need from you...
Is it all shared choices, or only particular ones?
If it is only particular ones, what type of shared choice are they? (modifier, choice, input? drop down, radio button list?)
Do they always do this, or is the problem intermittent?
Is there any type of pattern that you can see you are doing? (i.e. are you always deleting from the end of the shared choice list? how about from the top?)
How many products are these shared choices assigned to?
Do these shared choices only do this when they are assigned to multiple products? What happens when you assign it to just one product?
How many options are in these shared choices?
Do you have product caching disabled or enabled? (BVAdmin > Options > Performance. Remember that the box disables caching, not enables)
Lastly, if it is possible, could you walk us through the exact steps that you do in order to add the shared choice to a product and then the steps when you try and delete it.

The shared choices for Sku001 now works, but I didn't touch it since it was not working... Perhaps you went in and fixed it or there was some strange delay. But I am POSITIVE that the store was not working as expected earlier today when I couldn't remove the shared choice from Sku001 or even get the shared choice to display the updated adjustment values that I had given it. http://demo.bvsoftware.com/Demo29fc6be2828f4e54ab9a4a95cc613d1f/Products/Product-001__Sku001.aspx -Aaron

The rewritten URLs for both the categories and products in that store were also not working. Not sure if the demo stores are limited, but I assume the BVC5 SP1 demo store created for me is using the same code & database as the production BVC5 SP1.

Just look at the trial store on your servers that I asked to get created today for soto at deztech dot com. I've got 2 products and a couple of shared choices and the radio button list choice doesn't seem to be getting removed from product Sku001 or even updated with the new adjustments I gave to the shared choice.

Sorry, we do not correlate the sign-ups to which demo store that they created, you'll have to send me a url for your particular demo store. I apologize. |
