I am trying o install BV5 on a newly built server. I have installed SQL 2005 and have configured it to use mixed mode security. When I try to create a new store I can see the server name on the dropdown box but get a pop-up prerequisites check error saying that SQL 2005 dcould not be found on this computer.
I need some help here to prove to a client that I can get BV to integrate with their existing MRP system.
Thanks

You can safely ignore the warning about SQL not being found. We've seen this on several machines and it appears to be a problem with our detection code, not your SQL server.

Okay,
I click through the error about SQL2005 not being found. I selected SQL Authorization using my ID and password, swhich I know has admin rights on SQL 2005. I have verified that SQL is in mixed mode authentication. Now I get an error "Login failure for user xxx on SQL Server"
Now What?
