My shipping calculators allow the merchant to use the affiliate ID to determine the shipping costs. For example, "If AffiliateID = 'abc', then Cost = 0.10 * Order.SubTotal". Unfortunately BVC 2004 Checkout and One Page Checkout both assign the order.AffiliateID during the final submit...well after shipping costs have been calculated. So my suggestion is to assign order.AffiliateID during the Cart.aspx Page.Load event. |
