Credit Card and Gift Certificate Payment Error

When a customer places an order and they pay with a credit card and a gift certificate, a credit card or payment error is given when they click "place order" on the review page of the bvc2004 checkout and when they click "place order" on the one page checkout.

I've did more testing and the error only seems to appear when a user enters a gift certificate equal to or greater than the order total and also selects a credit card as payment. I think adding a check where if the gift certificate total is greater than or equal to the order total, disable the other payment options and state the no further payment is necessary. In actuality, I think this error would be a rare occurrence.

I've asked for this a long time ago both before and after SP2 beta.
I my scenario it's a very valid occurence as I have gift ceritificates of $50 while most of the my products cost $20-$30.
I really hope this will be fixed in SP2. If the GC covers the value of the order, the payment section should show only one radio button (already selected) with "No extra payment is required" or something similar.
