Hi Folks, I have a weird question.


We've already downloaded the sp2 for our first BV5 customized site, but as we know our first attempt of customize it has some design bugs (for example not working on the master pages but in the aspx -yes, I know... but I was new in the asp.net universe-. Anyway, we thought that the ideal way of working would be to create a new folder in the website and work on a mirror site over the SP2... when this to be finished, we would just redirect the url to that folder.



I guess until this point you might be asking "so, whats the problem?".



Ok, with the Import/Export tool we can import all the data from the old database store to the new one on an easy way (users, categories, products)... but, how can we import the orders history?



That would be lost in the change...



So, I was asking myself if is it any config file (I suppouse the web.config) where I can tell the store "Use this dabatase", setting up the OLD database, the ones that already has all the info.

Now, lest imagine this is possible (well, impossible is nothing), does the SP2 changes any setting of the database?

Does it ceates new columns or tables or anything I should know before this twisted idea to be done?
