We're contemplating the installation of live chat software. We would probably elect to host the software in house, but would also entertain hosted services if the general user experience has been positive.

Which services integrate most easily into SP2 and are there personal recommendations for use?

Thanks

I'll let you know -- I've been using the Xigla Live Support in my other ecommerce package, but the drawback there was I couldn't have the live help call on the secure side of the site since the application was installed on the non-secure side and I never could get it to work without it throwing a "non-secure page" warning to customers when they crossed over to the secure side. I haven't yet installed it on my BV5 site yet, I have only put a call to the live help button (calling from my existing store installation) and that works fine. I'm thinking that the structure of BV5 is not so much a "secure/nonsecure" setup where you have one side versus another, so I'm going to install it in a custom column and have that through the entire checkout process.

Shouldn't be an issue in BVC5 unless maybe you're using shared SSL, which isn't recommended anyway.

I believe quite a few BV merchants use SightMax Live Chat (http://www.sightmax.com.

I love SightMax.

I've tried LivePerson and Xigla and we've had tremendous success with SightMax.

Angela,

If you still have the Xigla license, I may be willing to purchase it from you. If you want and if Xigla will allow a transfer of license to another party. (I contacted them in the past about license transfers and they said it's possible, I recollect.)

PM me if interested in getting a couple bucks back from your test.
