I am building a site for a customer of mine that manages their day camps. It is built basically on schedules, employees who are working the different camps, and informational info about the camps. parents can brows descriptioins, prices, etc in my database.
Now, there is a part i have to build that requires eCommerce (camp signup) and i would like to interface with bvc5 as i have implemented 2004 in the past and like it.
So, the question is.....can each camp be an affiliate on the system so when i pass them there to make payment it shows a theme matching their site (of course i can do this)? BUT,this would ALSO require me to scope down the items (camp signups) to only show for the affiliate that we are showing the skin for.
Also, i would need to allow sign in to the 'backend' by the camp owners/admins to allow reporting and some other management, but only for that affiliates camps (obviously).
So, two things.
1. Does that break the license agreement?
2. Is it a technical nightmare warranting building myself vs building on atop BVC5?
Thanks much in advance
