I would like to transfer the databases for my 3 BVC5 carts to SQL running on a different server. I can physically move the database, but how can I set the carts to use the new location?
The reason for the move is high memory usage. Memory usage has run as high as 2.8GB, and my 32-bit server OS will not recognize more than 3GB. Of that 2.8GB, 800MB is SQL. The new SQL server uses a 64-bit OS and can run with plenty of memory.

Hey Scott.
After you move the databases, open the "web.config" in your stores root directory. Modify the connection string to point to the new location. |
