So another question about how Price Groups work.

I have a price group at 20% off.

A product that sells for $385.00 so $308.00 at the 20% off.

There is a product modifier that cost $325.00 to make the retail price $710.00

With the price group they are getting a price of $633.00 ($385-20%=$308.00 + $325.00). Instead of $568.00 ($710.00 - 20%)

Shouldn't the product modifiers also get the discount for the price groups.

Dan,

Be sure to make sure that the '% off' is off of the SITE price, NOT the LIST price when you set up the price group. Also, be sure to fill in both MSRP and list prices on the product page. Modifiers are not considered part of the LIST price.

I can tell that if the sales and offers don't apply to the Product Modifiers, then this is probably going to be a deal breaker for us purchasing BV. The Prodoct Modifiers would be used for Customer selected options for many of our products. When we run a sale we give that % off of the total product cost not just the base price. I'm not going to create a different part #(SKU) for each product with each different combination of product options.

Dissapointed.

I do have both prices filled in. I changed the % of to Site price and did not make a difference.

Why modifiers wouldn't get the discount does not make sense to me. TO me is should be % off the price including the modifiers, after all they alter the price
