What happens if 1 item ships from store, another ships from vendor / same order?

I'm getting ready to place other vendors' items oin the store and sure as I'm typing, there'll be an item that I'll ship, and an item that comes from a drop-shipper.
Will the drop shipper(s) get the entire order or just their piece?
Is shipping calculated for each item and totaled?
What am I not setting up now that I'll wish I had? <Polishing crystal ball> |

Mitch,
Each separate vendor will have created their own package where you can enter tracking information if you want. Their email will only include their items -- though I'm trying to figure out why my store is sending out TWO of every vendor notification.
You will see one shipping amount, the combined total of all shipping charges. |
