yesterday a patch came out for windows server 2003 64bit that i applied to my server.


once applied ( and rebooted ), the website started acting very strangely. occasionally, when you would click on something ( like cart, or add to cart or whatever ), the pages would seemingly hang... and never actually move on.



for instance, once i had some product options, would click add to cart, the page would act like its working, but would take 1-2 minutes before it would finish ( if it did ). other tiems, in the cart, when tryign to remove an item, same thing. i could click out of the section, go to another part of the site, and it woudl be good. then could come back, and everythign would work fine. then something else would cause it.



I did some reading on the security patch, and it has to do w/ how URI's are handled, so i removed it to test.



Once removed, everything is perfect again.
