SP3 B2 Choice Grid not enforcing minimum quantities

As Chris already found adding a product modifier will get the grid layout to work.
However, if the minimum quantity is specified as 12 and I have 4 slots totaling 10 the cart is not checking against the minimum quantity either by "choice" or in total. In essence it doesn't appear to be checking minimum quantities at all.
