A while back we successfully found and fixed, with the help of BV Support, the problem of a customer using a dash in their zip code and FedEx not returning rates for Ground/Home Delivery. Code was modified to strip the dash out of the zip for both the checkout page and shipping estimator. However, I have found that the dash is still being passed to PayPal, so that when a customer gets there to process payment, FedEx Ground is not being displayed because PayPal cannot retrieve the rate. I've reported this to PayPal, but perhaps there is a way to strip the dash out before it goes to PayPal. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the address being passed TO PayPal, or if PP is using an address the customer has on file there, though.
