This sql file will update the bvc_Product_StoreSearch_s stored procedure to apply a fix for the manufacturer search not working and inactive products showing up in the search.
In order to run this file you will need to run SQL Server Management Studio and Open the file, then select the database you want to patch from the "Available Databases" drop down list. You can hit F5 to run the patch or click "Execute" on the menu.
******* NOTE: The hotfix has been removed from this posts, since Hotfix SP3-D includes this fix as well.

This hasn't helped our site. If I disable everything but search by name, and tell it to find wine openers (two products with that in the name) it doesn't put them anywhere near the top. Only SKU and Product Name are being searched.
I think you have the site address already to check. I'll update the ticket for you in a second.
It's much better Marcus, usable for sure, but:
Let's say your name brand is BV
BV Wine opener search will:
Give you anything with the words opener in it. Is there a way to have it search for an exact match and place that first?
SKU search works fine.

Oh, okay, I think we see what the issue is now. We will look into it. |

It's better today than yesterday. If you go to our site www.promomanagers.com and type Leeds Vineyard Wine opener specifically into the search, it should display that near the top or at the top. The direct link is (removed forum no likey) . Oddly we're also getting intermittent blank search results since the update. I'm not sure if others are finding this? Ideally the search should return exact matches if the product name is being a key determinant which it is on our site. Let us know if you need access. |

I just deleted the post I made here, because we have a working stored procedure to release as a hotfix now. It is Hotfix SP3-D |
