Question: 1. I want to know from any sites using Affiliates - of any issues that you might be having. I had read somewhere that in certain cases it was not reliable.
Question 2: When looking at the order in admin - is there a way to show if the order came through which affiliate ? Dosent this sound like a must feature unless there its there.
I am asking there before going and coding it, in case I am missing it.
Comments:
For one of the sites we are doing, I have developed a custom solution:
Their commission structure is per product - for each product they offer a specific commission a $ amount.
We save this amount in product table.
We have developed custom affiliate and admin affiliate reports that total the commission amounts based on product * its commission. |

most built-in affiliate solutions are lacking on features, and while BVs is a good attempt, I didn't think there was enough control over the sales. I use IDevAffiliate, for $99, it's a simple solution with a lot of features. |
