This forum is running under .net 2.0 now so keep an eye out for any strange behavior.

Set search date to "Any Date" and it should return.

I did that initially and it didn't return anything. Today is does, but not too many hits for "SP3". |

Yep, the search is one of the main areas we'll be upgrading in the next version of dotnetbb.

BTW: We made a tweak to the search page here on the forums. Please let us know if you are still getting timeouts. We haven't tweaked the SQL stored proc yet but I think the interface changes will resolve most timeouts.

Have you run the SearchBuilder Tool? I find the searches report better results after I do. |

I'm getting an "Object Reference Error" when trying to edit my signature in the control panel. |

Can you grab a screenshot for me. When I edit my profile/signature it appears to work. Any other information I might need to duplicate the issue?

Control Panel > Edit Profile > Submit (I did not change anything, but I do have a signature). Andy Miller attached the following image(s): NullReference.png (71kb) downloaded 64 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register. |

What forums are actually included in the search?
I've tested by going to a post and searching for phrases and words that are in that post and not getting any results.
specifically, It seems that nothing in the bvcustomers only section is returned in any search.
in another test i searched for the word "how" and it returned 10 results. If it is a noise word then there should be no results, otherwise it should return almost one post from each thread because it is so popular. |

I think there is an issue with the search now for this forum.
I made a post about an error in the event log a few days ago.
I did a search (yesterday and today) trying to find other threads about "log" , "event log" and the search only returned 3 threads. And my thread that has "event Log" in the subject was not one of the 3. |

Now it seems the posts are being posted in the future, the server time seems an hour off... the footer says: Currently it is Wednesday, January 02, 2008 6:34 PM (GMT -5) but gmt-5 is currently 5:34 |

We are aware of several issues and it will be a few days before we can get the next update installed. Thank you for your help in identifying problems.
