Even when i have loged into the site it keeps asking me for username and password when i have loged into the dashboard as admin and say go to the orders button it again prompts me for the username and password i dont have ssl turned on but their is an ssl certificate on the root of the web site could this be causing this also is it satisfactory just to tick use ssl cause i had problems once i did to get into the admin then i had to go into the databse and turn it off manually my domain is www.irishbodycare.com

Make sure you can manually reach pages in your site using an SSL call (i.e.: https:www.irishbodycare.com) - if you can then it should be safe to turn SSL on. I pulled several of your pages up under SSL with no issues with the lone exception of a non-secure error message on your home page, but that is most likely due to the flash element on the home page. All other pages ( a product page, add-to-cart page, checkout page) that I tested worked fine. |
