Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I received a call from a person saying they are from First Merchant Services and that all Authorize.Net Wells Fargo Customers are going to need to switch over to them. They said Authorize Net is going out of business. It seemed like a scam to me. Has any one else heard anything like this?

Sincerely,

No, not a peep. If they are being absorbed, it'll happen anyway so there's not much we can do.

CyberSource bought Authorize.Net last fall. I doubt that CyberSource is going out of business. First Merchant Services is an Authorize.Net reseller. Wells Fargo still advertises that they are also a Authorize.Net reseller.

Sounds like a scam to me too.
