Is there a way of viewing the last login time for a customer and or what is in the the various wishlists of customers? We've gone through the manual and the forums and see nothing referenced. This seems like ebiz 101 but if it's there it's not easy to find. PromoManagers

No. These and a few other similar standard business tools are on our wish-list for BVC6 though.
Personally, I'd like to have an anniversary pop-up notice in admin (1 week, 1 month, whatever....) of a wish-listed item's posting and the creation of an account or placement of an order so I can tickle and close and/or encourage an otherwise lost sale. Not seeing wish-lists is nuts. Why this info is being kept a secret from the admin in BVC4 and 5 (and other carts) is a mystery to me. A wish-listed item more than 1 month old will never sell, I'd prefer to offer a 10% discount to see if I can close the deal. This is roll-off-the-wall easy if you get admin assistance.
Shoppers come in and out... wish-list and forget - it's a shame we can't see this behavior the way a brick and mortar shop keeper can and close in on an opportunity to make a sale.
As you said, this is basic retailing 101 stuff. |

When I click on People and a specific user account, I see their wishlist. Is this what you're looking for? (naturally, you need an account to save a cart, so anonymous wishlists are basically impossible)
I like some of mitch's ideas. We do a majority of this through the accounting systems, would be cool to see it on the web. |

I'd also like to see a '*' next to any products that have been wish-listed as I scan the products in the listing of products. Clicking on the '*' would bring up a list of the users who have wish-listed that item.
This would go a long way towards determining that a price is too high. If the product sells, fine. If it's been wish-listed A LOT but doesn't sell so well, is the product too expensive, too complicated, not the right color....?
This would be a really good tool to have. |

Mitch/Matt I do see the wishlists in the people section - thank you. That does help for registered customers but we're blind still to the others. Hopefully this gets added in 6 or someone at BV develops a report that gets this done for us. Thanks PromoManagers

Corneliu worked on an intense report feature that shows the cart activity in good depth. Without an account, a person can't create a wishlist (how can a system track this?), essentially you're looking for two different solutions. The registered user wishlists is OOTB. Here's Corneliu's Plugin: http://www.acorns.com.au/bv/blog/?p=92(I haven't been able to test the plugin due to timetables, but I'm aiming to use it!) |
