We are having dificulties with the shipping segment of the checkout.

When i enter a zipcode it doesn't update the shipping info, and sometimes resets the zipcode field.

Furthermore, when i choose a shipping option it doesn't update the total at the bottom of the page.

Much of this has been dealt with on the forum. I don't remember if the fix was an SP, hotfix or checkout page patch.

Which SP are you running?

Also, check your site in IE6, see below:

What is it with BVC5 and IE6 incompatablity ootb? Even BV's own site looks like crap in IE6. Is someone going to address this for real?

It's the most often used browser by visitors on my site.

I have no problem meeting my buyer's needs, that's how I make money. The better I meet their needs, the more money I make - IE6 included.

I use IE6 because my shoppers do. I also test with the latest version of FF just to be sure to include the minority users ;)

It isn't so much an issue with the application itself, but a lack of testing and tweaking the CSS for IE6 when customized. The OOTB markup in .Net doesn't do that much to help, but most of what you see is just a result of IE6 bugs going unchecked in the CSS.
