Perhaps this is a condition of my lack of experience with this product, or perhaps it is not, however here is our issue.

We are attempting to add "weights" to the item product types for the purpose of customizing shipping. In the product batch edit section this would be very easy, however when we add "1.000" in the batch edit to the product type and select either "Add to" or "Set to" then preview - it gives us the save changes page. In the DB preview for the changes there is no adjustment to the "Weight" field, and no changes are made to the DB when we save.

However, completely to the contrary of common sense, if we "add to" when there is already a value present in the "weight" field (1.00 or greater) then the batch edit ad's the new value to the existing value and properly saves it. However, any weight fields with "0.000" present are not affected by either method of Batch Editing.

Now since no one else has any posts about this I have to assume I am an idiot, or we have an error in our system.

If someone can please point out options, I have utilized all the possible combinations in the batch edit with no success.
