We are using BVC5. FedEx is the only shipping method we use. When anyone is on the checkout.aspx page, it says $0.00 - To Be Determined. Contact Store for Details with a radio button next to it. Shouldn't this calculate the shipping? It is also coming up as $0.00 for shipping when the order is completed. We have to charge for shipping. Can anyone help me out?

We have the FedEx settings entered correctly (Account Number, Meter Number, Service URL) I think.

Which FedEx Methods do you have set up (Ground, Express, etc.)? Can you do an estimate? Have you turn on Diagnostics and then tried to retrieve rates?

A solution to a very similar post was to make sure you have your store's zip code (or ship from zip code) in there.

Dashboard > Content (Top Tab) > Store Info (1st link in dark green nav bar)

I'm having the same problem with UPS. I added my UPS shipper information via the admin site, however, when placing a test order, the shopping cart application bypasses the step where the custome is offered shipping options and "checkout.aspx" page says shipping: $0.00 "See Store Shipping Policy"

I'm trying to go live ASAP and t his is a big glitch...

ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated.

Did you verify that your store's address information is entered as Matt suggested? If so, definitely turn on diagnostics mode and check your Event Log in the admin. That may give you a clue as to what is going on. I know we've run into problems with shippers (not sure if it was FedEx) where we actually had to call them and enable the real-time rates for the account. Rest assured that this functionality does work, and we've had success with all three carries.
