If I have 2 products with the same price in one kit, then when adding the 1st one to the cart then back to the kit page and add the 2nd one to the cart, what is doing is adding the 1st product has been added with quantity=2, I have to add both of them at the same time to be added to the cart properly.
I tried to change the price for one of them and it worked fine.
I have many products with same price in my site, so what is the problem ??

Do you have "merge identical cart items" turn on under Options->Orders? Try turning it off.

Yes it was turned on, it worked when I turned it off, but I need it to be on because I have products as components in kits and others as individual :(

Danya,
The "Merge Identical Items" feature does not support kits so it can't tell the difference between two kits with the same sku but different selections. It's on our bug list to correct in a service pack.
