Additional Images and the key word 'empty'

For some reason when the site was changed from one version to another, products were associated with random "additional images". I tried an import with the word 'empty' in the additional images column but it doesn't work. In fact it adds another image usually a "no image available" error. Any ideas on how to get rid of these with the import tool?

It's been what, a year almost and I'm still having the same problem. I could go in and delete them manually but there are over 5,000 products with this problem. I recently tried using "- None -" and "FALSE" in the additional images field but I still cannot get rid of the random additional images. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what caused your problem, but if you don't want to manually go through each product you could hire a developer to write a script to clean this up. |
