Need some guidance on a situation we have. We are upgrading from BV5 SP2 to BV5 Sp4. We copied production BV files and SQL database to a Dev site. Everything seems to fine except when we click on the sign-on to login as admin. It takes us to the production site since the SSL config is on and it points to the production SSL. We are caught in a catch 22 since we cannot login to admin make the change to the SSL in the dev environment. Is there a way to change the SSL without logging in or are there files that can be overwritten so it will allow us to login as admin in Dev environment.

Again, thanks for your time and your guidance. We were able to get to admin by making the changes you mentioned. We also went ahead and change the UseSSL value from 1 to 0 and restarted the application pool. It probably will still work even if we kept the UseSSL value to 1 as long as the value on the SiteSecureRoot is not an https (SSL) site.

Now we have dev environment that is functionally the same as the one we have in production. We will now proceed with running the SQL scripts for the Service Packs and then FTP SP4 files over to the dev environment.
