For those interested: In the admin--> options --> site terms you can define the "validatorfieldmarker". Within that field just use html to point to your image. See attachment # 2
I have a product that has 4 modifiers and (as it is supposed to) if you try to add to cart without selecting tham it puts up the alert "field required". In my case though it locates them at the top above the product image and at the bottom just above the add to cart button (see attached) but it is difficult for someone to locate what they have missed. How do I get the error message alert to appear next to the product modifier that requires action? I have been able to increase the error message "field required" font and change the alert image but I am wondering how to change the alert asterisk (highlighted in yellow) to an alert image to help indicate the area requiring action.
