Email template tag error: [[GiftCertificate.]] tags not substituted

In the admin order receipt email template, I added the tags
[[GiftCertificate.CertificateAmount]] and
[[GiftCertificate.CertificateCode]]
However, these tags fail to substitute with the proper value when the email is generated.
Do you have a fix for this problem?

I know that a while back when I was trying to customize the order emails with these gift certificate tags, I ran into the same issue. I believe it was because not all available tags can be used in every single email template, and in this case, the GC tags cannot be used in the admin order email template. I think the workaround was to custom program some changes.
