Has anyone tested the Internet Explorer 8 version with their bv commerce website? The layout is different than firefox, safari, opera, and chrome versus IE 8 or 7. That isn't the real problem though. We had a customer today send us email because they couldn't buy anything on our website in IE 8. When you go to the products page and click add to cart you get a Runtime error. (The error is attached to this thread). Before I start messing around with the webconfig file or try different settings in IE 8, I figure I ask here first to see if anyone knows the solution. You need to upgrade to the latest version which contains the fix for IE8. If you don't want to do the full upgrade, you can manually fix this problem by following the instructions on this post: http://forums.bvcommerce.com/de...&m=60691&g=63022 |
