This MAP pricing from manufacturer's is giving me hell. Some allow me to show a price, but we can offer a lower price over the phone / email. Some allow me to "add to cart" for price and show a low price in the shopping cart. Others dont allow me to show any price on the product page or cart (you can only buy over the phone).


With that being said, a lot of our products have options that the customer must choose from. So here is the problem: How do i show a price for products with "add to cart" pricing on the category page when they have required options? I cant have "Price: Add to Cart" because there is no add to cart button (and even if there was an add to cart button, the customer would be re-directed to the product page to select their options, then click add to cart). What about the grid format... there are no buttons.



So far what I have done is used a grid format with no prices. That way the customer has to select the product to view any and all prices. But does that hinder customers that only want to see price on the category page?



What do you think? I am open to all suggestions and brainstorming. Nothing is a bad way, but some ways might be better than others in my case ;)
