Hi,
I am wanting to add the ability to have cross sell automatically added to the shopping cart. But, also have the ability for the customer to remove the cross sell item.
I do online ticket sales and would like to have the ability to have an extended download service automatically added to the customers cart when they purchase a ticket. This would be similar to many sites that sell software online that functions such that when that product is added to the cart and extended download service is automatically added to the cart for say $4.99. The other thing that you need to be able to do is for the customer to be able to remove this item if they don't want it without disrupting the original product itself.
I think I was able to accomplish this previously but found that when I deleted the automatically added item it also deleted the product itself.
Does anybody have any idea of how this could be implemented? Looking for quotes.
