Of the merchants using Google Checkout:
1. what's been the impact on orders?
2. Are you shipping via Live Rates or Value Based Price Table?
I'm aware of the frequent live rates issues. |

I'm also interested to hear from some merchants that are using it.
We don't have any clients using this at the moment. The typical problem we run into is that GC can't replicate the complex shipping logic that several of our customers use. Another issue that we ran into is that the version of GC that BV is using is pretty old, so it doesn't support some of the newer features like passing conversion tracking information (necessary when using an affiliate program like Commission Junction). We could develop this, of course, but none of our clients have wanted to pay for it. |

I was using Google Checkout before converting to BV5. It really didn't do much of anything for sales but complicate life. But in BV5 Google demanded to be I think first in line on the checkout page or something like that. What arrogance. It was such a pain dealing with Google I dropped them some time ago and glad to be rid of them.
