But One – Get One Free Interesting issue on a 5.4 website. But One – Get New free works great. However, once you have the main item and the free item in the cart there is an issue. Say for example the free item originally cost $9.95 and is now in the cart as zero. If you delete the free item from the cart two issues. First the item is not deleted and second you now have a -$9.95 giving the customer both the item and an extra discount. Has anyone seen this on their website or know if the issue was corrected in a later version? BOGO was updated in 5.6 so you may want to check out that code.

Checkout the 5.7 code too. I don't remember if we made more updates in that version but I suspect we did.
