I have been trying to get the pictures to show up in the flash rotator. I have added 4 different jpg pics and added a link to one. When I go to my homepage I see the flash rotator location but it is white , no visible pictures. I can mouse over the flash rotator and see the link when it rotates through but no pictures, so it must be working simply not displaying the pictures. I am at a loss on this any suggestions? I followed the setup procedure in the manual.

I don't think the flash rotator module has ever quite worked as expected. Most of us use a custom implementation. |

Make sure you have permissions set correctly on the images. The Flash image rotator works perfectly for many stores. The problems that I have seen are either a) very large images that take a while to load at first or b) permissions problems where the ASPNET user account can't load the images from disk correctly.
BTW: Tim, who is "most of us?" I haven't heard of many other merchants not able to get the flash image rotator to work.

We had trouble with it the one time we tried to use it. Images randomly would not display. Sorry I can't give you any more feedback than that, though, as it was about a year ago. |

Working fine here http://www.outdooroutfitters.comI am not sure what we are doing differently to get it working but no troubles. |
