Search results include products that are set to inventory=0, Remove from Store (but are marked as Active.)
I can't think of a reason this would be intentional - but maybe I'm missing something.
Sorry if it's already been discussed.

Always been that way. Many of the developers here should be able to modify the stored procedure so that these are hidden from the search with just a simple line of code.
