5.7.4 Hidden Categories Still not accessible - Not Fixed

Could someone else confirm, but the item Marcus posted on the list as fixed "2) Fix for hidden categories where URL rewriter prevented hidden category direct links" does not in fact seem fixed.

Also, ContentBlocks>CategoryMenu>View.ascx.vb seems to be making an infinite redirect loop causing the site to crash. Am I missing something here?
I have confirmed this as well with all URL rewriting in my .htaccess disabled to make sure my redirects were not conflicting.
On a side note, Where do the URL rewrite rules reside? (I would imagine that they were in the core .dll's, but the file change list does not specify the core .dll's as being updated.)

Mark,
The URL rewriter and logic is part of the core. I haven't reviewed 5.7.4 to see what, if anything, was changed as it pertains to the the rewriter. |

I have also noticed in 5.7.4 that the BVModules\Category Templates\Grids with Subs .vb file is missing the boolean parameter for hidden categories in FindAllChildren. I had to manually add the 3 parameter in that function of the vb file to False for it to work.

Ditto - I just experienced the same Grids with Subs.vb issue when setting up a local build environment with 5.74 this weekend. |
