Wanted to find out if anyone has seen this issue with their BV5 site and if so what you did for resolution.
I just traced this down on a test site using Ants Profiler.
On this site there are about 300 offers for buy one get one free in the database.
Whenever an item is added to the cart or whenever you click view cart it will take 3+ secs to load the cart.aspx page.
So testing I deleted all offers with the exception of free shipping. Add to cart and view cart dropped to 0.5 secs load time.
The test site is at 5.4 presently. Perhaps fixed in later version?
If you have a site with lots of buy one get one offers (250+) please let me know if you see a similar result.
