Wholesale pricing limited to specific products

I need to offer wholesale pricing on a few of my products.
A Price Group has as one of the options Percentage off list price. This = MSRP on the Catalog-Product pages. But it is off ALL products.
Creating an "Offer"-Products under Marketing the discount is only available as a "Percentage Off Site Price". This = Price on Catalog-Product pages.
So the resolution to this would be to have a choice like the Price Group - Percentage off list price as an option on the Marketing-Offer-Products page. That way I can set my MSRP for those specific products and offer say a 50% discount of those amounts. That is after all the the price that stores want to see there profit margin from and not our selling prices which we move seasonally for for sales etc.
Has anyone done this?? The code is already there for the other pricing options as I noted under Price Group so could be moved to the Offers page??

I would tap a programmer to expand the price group options. Allow for selection of products, product types, categories, MFG's, Vendors, etc.
Allow for costs to be calculated in several ways. Calculate sell price based on your cost for example (as opposed to markdown pricing). Many ways to skin the cat on this topic.
An even bigger expansion would be the ability to apply custom volume pricing levels. |

If I really had my choice I'd like to have on the Catalog-Products-Product Volume Discount be linked to a People-Groups.
That way I can assign specific resellers/stores/individuals to a Group so only they can see the wholesale prices assigned.
But that seems like a lot more time and therefore cost to implement. My earlier post would be less work??
Any programmers out there wanting to take on the challenge. Of course I'm happy to pay for the custom work.
