Hi, I am using PayPal's Website Payments Pro with my BV5.6 store. It processes the transaction fine but ends up in the US$ account in PayPal qs opposed to the Can$ account. I spoke with PayPal integration and they looked at the order request and said that it is sending as US$. I have the setting in BV set to Canadian $.

Anyone know why this would be?

According to PayPal specs we are supposed to pass in USD no matter what the end user currency. It surprised us too. Unless they have changed their service and not their docs now it is built according to their docs.

I just spoke with PayPal and they said at one point in time it was USD only but that the multi currency option has been in effect for several years.

Have you looked at the 5.8 code? We made a lot of PayPal updates and probably already have this change in place.

Thanks Marcus,

I will check 5.8 out. Unfortunately my maintenance agreement has expired and I don't have access to 5.8 or to 6.0 which was the reason I had originally subscribed to the maintenance agreement when it was first implemented.

In addition, I have a lot of customization to my 5.6 site (including the ticketing module that BV wrote for me) that hasn't been tested with 5.8 and so I am a little hesitant to make the move for just the currency issue.

Does anyone happen to know or able to confirm if this has been resolved in 5.8?
