I'm trying to do some bulk inserting via some scripting for product cross sells, and noticed that the bvin field in the ProductCrossSell table is not automatically calculated or incremented. I'm assuming that this is also the case for all the other tables that include a bvin field. What method is being used to generate a unique bvin when a record is added?

It's a GUID. You can generate them in .NET or SQL. |
