We're seen the following error sporadically in the private notes of several of our 5.8 client sites:

Any ideas?

These sites all hosted at the same provider? A DNS issue perhaps either at host or perhaps AN?

Clearly looks like a DNS issue. I wonder if some bad data got cached or if you have a proxy server in the middle that isn't behaving correctly.

Yes, it does sound like DNS. I wonder if this could be a symptom of a problem on Authorize.net's end. If nobody else has experienced this problem then I tend to this it's a DNS issue on the ISP side of things.
