Does anyone know the significance of 'System Status' for Order Status Codes?
I see in the code for \BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core\WebAppSettings.vb we have Public Const OrderStatusCodeOnHold As String = "88B5B4BE-CA7B-41a9-9242-D96ED3CA3135" along with a few others but why is the question. |

Doesn't that just mean that it's an OOTB status rather than a user-created one? The "system" designation is used elsewhere in the application to designate this. |

Perhaps to have the guids for look-up in just one place when fetching associated images and whatever else may be needed. That's about all I can think of. I am using additional status codes but in the past have made them system and wondering why ha. System status codes are not allowed to be deleted on the Edit Order Status Codes page. That's the primary reason for the flag. It prevents users from accidentally deleting things like "Cart" or "Completed" statuses.
