I posted this in the Customizations forum so it's repeat here:
Since the search performs a search based on derivatives of the search term(s), I have a hunch that's why pagination was pulled. (Don't quote me on that, it's a hunch).
Search for "Blue Ray DVD Players" searches for:
"Blue", "Ray", "DVD", "Players", "Blue Ray", "DVD Players", "Players" etc... (again don't quote me, based on topical observation)
Additionally, it would be nice if categories found (based on the keywords field in the category admin) would be displayed.
also, limiting search results could use a little touch up. Limiting it to say 15 results ends the search function prematurely and the term "DVD Players" is never displayed.
IMHO, if search is limited, it should be limited to each term it searches for. |
