I'm going to start of using Paypal for accepting Credit cards.
But, my question pertains to which Paypal solution to use. Or which one is BV Commerce set up for.
Paypal Payments Standard - Transfers customers to paypal site to make payment, no monthly fee or Paypal Payments Advanced - Customers stay on my site to pay, $5 per month fee or Paypal Payments Pro - Customers stay on my site to pay, $30 per month fee
Seems the transactions fees are the same for all three.
Do all three work with BV Commerce out of the box or not?
Thanks |

That's a good question with a tricky answer. Of the three options that PayPal promotes (Standard, Advanced, and Pro), BV Commerce only supports Pro in the form of the PayPal Website Payments Pro 4.3.1 payment gateway. To be clear, their "Pro" integration is a traditional payment gateway akin to Authorize.Net.
Where things get tricky is that BV Commerce also offers PayPal Express Checkout, which I believe only requires that you have a Standard account. |

If PayPal standard is your only method of payment them you might want to customise the cart/checkout area so your customers do not have to complete the checkout form, then have to do the same to log into PayPal etc.
