Does the new First Data Global Gateway use their e4 TransArmor tokenization?

No, our e4 gateway integration does not. Authorize.Net offers a similar option which we are looking at as a possible update. We'll consider updating the e4 gateway integration as well. Are you currently using First Data with any of your customers? |

To expand on this a little further, if we add tokenization of credit card payments it will require some larger thinking in terms of how it will impact the platform as a whole rather than just a single gateway integration. Another tokenized gateway that we are considering is Stripe. |

None of our customers use First Data. All are very interested in reducing requirements for PCI compliance - even to the point of being willing to change. Authorize.NET is more popular with our customers as far as the classic merchant account/gateway model goes, but the newer full stack approaches, like Stripe and Braintree, possibly with Mijireh would be great.
