Where are the search engines getting the "Home -" text before my website information? Is this the <title> tag in the Home.master file? If I change that to "Kataaro" instead of "Home", then I need to change my Store Name in the General Options settings to "Custom Embroidered Martial Arts Belts and Uniforms", which is actually the tag-line. Doesn't seem right to not have the company name in the Store Name place, but if that's what it takes. Edited by user Saturday, December 14, 2013 1:21:09 AM(UTC)

It actually depends on your theme. With your site the "Home" text is coming from your Home.master page. The problem with changing the "Store Name" in the admin to an optimized title like what you have is that this name is used elsewhere in the system (e.g. email templates). Your best bet is to just add the title you want to the Home.master and let the system tack " - Kataaro" onto the end of it. Alternately you can modify the code to do whatever you want. |
