We have a client that wants to set up a promotion for a Flat Rate shipping option when a customer enters a promotion code.
I have tried setting up a shipping offer with a promotion code, but I have been unable to do so without setting up a custom shipping method. This causes a second issue where unless the shipping method is hidden, it shows up as an option without entering the promo code. If we set the shipping method to hidden, then it doesn't show up when the promo code is entered.
How do we get the promotional shipping method to remain hidden until a customer adds a promotion code?

Unfortunately this combination of requirements is not supported with the out-of-the-box functionality. |
