To make the Sales By SKU Report useful, it would be helpful to have the ability for wildcard search for all variations of a SKU. I currently would have to run a search for every one of our 14 colors for a specific product and then compile them by hand on a spreadsheet (e.g. 4941-BLK, 4941-BLU, 4941-BRN, 4941-GRN, etc.). So instead, we find ourselves tracking specific products by hand as they come in, avoiding the Reports tool altogether.
I imagine wildcards would be useful for other Reports, but this is our current struggle. Can we get this implemented in the next update? When is the next update?

You would need to speak with whoever you had develop this report. The Top Products report, however, does have the ability to perform a partial match on the SKU.
